THE END WORLD HUNGER FOUNDATION supports nonprofits working to create food security in populations at-risk of hunger and malnutrition.

With our global partners we combat hunger and malnutrition through education, research, and fundraising.

The nonprofit requesting funds will meet one or more of the following criteria where lack of resources or knowledge inhibits the ability to achieve food stability.

  • Provides education, resources, support and training to smallholder farm families in areas of hunger and/or nutrition.

  • Addresses child malnutrition through education in nutrition, medical services and promotion of gardens with diversification of food sources.

  • Educates people on the causes of hunger and malnutrition and provides avenues to become involved.

  • Explores “cutting edge” issues like the effects of climate change on agriculture, seed saving strategies, organic farming and improved food distribution.

Basic Criteria:

  • The organization has a history helping families facing hunger and malnutrition.

  • The project has a specific goal for which the funds are needed and there is an established plan about how the funds will be used.

  • The grantee will work in partnership with EWH Foundation to provide print and visual materials, which can be used for the education of the public.

Projects in the $3,000-10,000 range are given thorough consideration.
